Carnival Themed Birthday: Aris

WELCOME LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, CHILDREN OF ALL AGES TO ARIS’S CARNIVAL CELEBRATION!!

We are so pleased to show you this out-of-this world carnival party we coordinated and styled last weekend! Our client found us through ANDERS RUFF CUSTOM DESIGNS a couple of months ago when we coordinated a similar carnival party but for a 1-year old baby girl! Our client was looking for a carnival celebration for her soon-to-be 1 year old son! We were thrilled that she found us online thanks to our wonderful invitation designers but not only that, coincedently, she was here in Houston! I immediately thought this party was meant to be!

Here is a look at the invite designed by ANDERS RUFF CUSTOM DESIGNS:

(Information left blank for privacy purposes)

The weather turned out beautiful! (And if you’ve ever been down to Houston, you know our weather is unpredictable!)

Now to the fabulous party details!! To give guests the illusion of a tent as if arriving to a carnival or circus, we solicited the help of balloon decorators, UP UP & AWAY BALLOON CREATIONS. Nora used 2 of the prominent colors used throughout the invitation and party: red and teal! Guests were greeted with this curtain tent-arch to start their carnival experience right away!

Guests were also greeted by Petit Delight’s favorite stilt-walker Roly!  He is so much fun and boy is he talented on those stilts!! And tall!

And as guests walked through, an impressive row of ginormous clowns were there to say WELCOME TO THE PARTY!!

Here’s a look at the party area! Children enjoyed jumping inside the carousel bouncy house while guests enjoyed sitting and eating under the shade! The pennant flags (which were the last detail to be put up) were the key element that gave this birthday party a true CARNIVAL atmosphere! Wouldn’t you have enjoyed being here?!

The custom centerpieces filled with party noise makers, a jumbo carnival animal balloon, candy and another key element, pinwheels custom-made by Shana of CROSSROADS COTTAGE.  She customized the pinwheels to the invitations’ colors and shapes! Amazing!!

A homerun and one of the highlights of the carnival celebration: the dessert table! UP, UP & AWAY did a magnificent job with this diamond background with the birthday boy’s name in gorgeous jumbo letters! All the work in coordinating party colors! Even a clown wanted to sneak in there for a bite of sweets!

Back from popular demand, Popcorn Cupcakes! Red Velvet, Banana and Vanilla cupcakes from our preferred bakery DACAPO’S PASTRY CAFE! Yummmm!

Of course, from ANDERS RUFF, coordinating Happy Birthday Banner, logos for the cupcake pops and water labels amongst other goodies!

Here are the yummylicious cake pops from BEE’S KNEES CREATIVE. She also made the decadent and immaculate sugar cookies in carnival tent, elephant, and clown shapes!

And the 2nd most awaited arrival after the birthday boy’s, was of this insanely perfect carnival cake designed and created by Edet Okon.

Here is a look at BEE’S KNEES CREATIVE sugar cookies!

And another, these clowns look like pictures…that’s how perfect they were!

Then Roly came back with his uni-cycle and juggling acts to perform for the guests and party boy!!

Here’s a picture of the games that kept the children entertained! There was this carousel, a ferris wheel and a pony rides (not pictured).

The entrance table filled with presents for the birthday boy! His name in a custom banner by ANDERS RUFF!

CLOWN WATER had everybody laughing!!

Last but certainly not least, this Carnival Celebration featured a clown balloon artist, a clown face painter (hiding behind the children) and a cotton candy machine that had children running with sugar rushes!

This party was an extreme success for both Petit Delights and the family that so graciously hosted us! A special thanks to my partner-in-crime, Joanna Garcia, my hubby, and the M&M&M’s…the Petit Delights staff: Montserrat, Macarena and Monica!

It’s awesome. The sad thing is that in my case carnival rides arent available in my town, although I am able to bring in live baby tigers and a bartender for my adult halloween circus party.
